Welcome to the best sports club in town.
Nana Sport.
Where taking the slow lane, means you've already won.
There's something very cool about making things with your hands, and we’re here to cheer you on as you step away from the noise, tap into your creativity, and wrap yourself up in the pure joy of making.
We’re really excited for you to learn this age-old nana skill. Because with it, comes a bunch of feel-good benefits and that inner joy that feels like a 1-2 combo. Think nana hug and power move, all in one.
Make stuff. Feel chuffed.
Our easy-to-follow crochet kits not only spark your creativity… they give your brain a break from all 'the busy'. They teach you new skills and fill you with a proper sense of "hell yeah, I made this"! It’s the old school version of a dopamine boost.
For us, it’s not just about the finished item (although yes, it will look amazing). It’s really about the making process – the focus and rhythm, the little wins, and even the odd tangle.
We use high-quality, sustainably sourced yarns that are lovely to work with, because if you’re putting hours into something, it should feel as good as it looks.
Perfect? Nah. Glorious? Yep.
Will there be a few hiccups? Probs... expect the odd dropped stitch, mysterious loop and maybe even a dramatic sigh or two. But that’s all part of the experience. It’s what makes your finished piece uniquely yours!
Plus, we're on standby with email support. Here to help you through any tangle.
And once you're finished? Show it off, share a laugh about your crafting journey and keep your new trophy bag close. It’s a guaranteed convo-starter (and high chance a friend will try to steal it for themselves).
And hey, bonus points if you casually drop “handcrafted” into every conversation for the next month.

Hey I'm Amy!
I launched Nana Sport in * checks date * 2025, but let’s be real – it started way before then. I’ve been crocheting, sewing, quilting and knitting since I was a young 'un - all taught by my amazing Nan and Mum.
Immersing myself in textile crafts is my happy place. More than a hobby, it's my sport - low impact, high reward, and best done in a comfy pant (yes singular pant, cause it’s funny to say).
I've been teaching crochet for over 14 years. I want to share this joy-fest and get people back into making things. Working with our hands enables us to create something unique (looking at you three-armed jumper from Year 10). But seriously, it's a really special thing to do - for your heart, your mind and your self.
It’s less about the number of things we have, and more about the love, effort and care that we put into making them.
I hope you'll join me in my mission to craft more goodness.
Amy x
