Thanks Amy for a great afternoon, from not knowing how to crochet at all to completing a (small) coaster. And today 24 hours later feeling much more confident in using the stitches as I practice. Highly recommend!
Such a wonderful experience. Amy is a patient teacher and so wonderful to learn from. It was a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon and so happy to have a new skill to try. Crochet was a lot more approachable and doable than I thought.
I had a great time at the Beginner Crochet Class. Amy's teaching was clear and easy to follow, and by the end of the class I was confident to replicate / keep practising the coaster at home. It was a fun afternoon with a great bunch of ladies. Now ready to try the Flirty Florence bag!
Amy’s class was organised, informative and fun! It was also a bit frustrating as I had never crocheted before…. but, I left feeling very accomplished, and inspired to practiced when I got home. Her video tutorials are fantastic to follow! Coaster done ✅ next step is the bag!

I thoroughly enjoyed the NanaSport Crochet Workshop. Amy, was a calm and thoughtful tutor who guided our enthusiastic group through the steps to make a complete coaster. The venue was warm and friendly, the seats were comfy and as promised we enjoyed a glass of wine and a cheese board.
For me, the workshop was good value!
At a comfortable pace I learned how to hold the raffia yarn and how to hold the hook, plus I learned the chain stitch and the double crochet stitch and how to neatly finish off the edges.
We were taken through the process of making a complete crochet coaster which gave me a comfortable sense of achievement.
The next day I was so encouraged by the workshop that I decided to make the same thing again with 4 ply wool helped by the written pattern that was included in the workshop, along with access to how-to videos.
I'm well on my way to knowing how to crochet, thank you Amy, thank you Nana sport.

This was my first ever crochet class , it was fantastic, Amy was very welcoming and friendly and overall it was lots of fun . She was very supportive and helpful. The class also included a glass of wine and a beautiful charcuterie board. The venue was also amazing. Thank you Amy for sharing your experience and knowledge of crochet !!

Love Love Love Nana sport! this is my second bag and I had never crotche before! The instruction and videos are very clear and really easy to follow. There is a Facebook group where you can ask questions and that has been very helpful. Recommend Nana Sport 100%.
Never picked up a crochet hook before. Frustrating at first but after the first 3-4 rows away you go !!
Once you see the pattern emerge it’s easier to understand your stitch placement. Great fun, looking forward to a lot of practice at home.

It had been years since I'd crocheted but after seeing Nana Sports beautiful bags, I knew I needed to come out of retirement and pick up the hook again! Amy offered the perfect refresher, explaining everything so clearly and after guiding me with a few practice runs, I felt confident.
